The Swinomish Gaming Commission is the primary regulatory authority over gaming within the boundaries of the Swinomish Reservation.
The Swinomish Gaming Commission is an independent entity of the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community that regulates the gaming activities of the Swinomish Casino & Lodge. It is the mission of the Gaming Commission to assure a continuing high-degree of integrity in gaming, as well as to protect the health and safety of patrons and employees and the casino assets of the Tribe. The Gaming Commission is responsible for developing internal controls and monitoring all casino operations.
It is the goal of commission staff to represent the Tribe in a professional manner, working with administrative and management personnel within and outside the Tribe to protect the assets of the Tribe. Further, it is the goal of commission staff to identify those who have the potential to commit illegal activities and to take action against those persons who pose a threat to the gaming facility, its patrons, employees, and casino assets.
