The Shellfish team at Swinomish Fisheries works in (1) the management of shellfisheries, including the monitoring of fisheries and resources, and (2) research and restoration of shellfish populations and their associated habitat. All of the species we work with are ecologically and culturally-important and most are also commercially valuable
