The Salish Summit is a gathering taking place in Coast Salish waters to celebrate and share the teachings about caretaking the tidelands and relationships that are central to Indigenous aquaculture and food sovereignty. This is a keystone event of the Cross-Pacific Indigenous Aquaculture Collaborative Network, and follows on from previous gatherings honoring place-based connections that were hosted over the past few years by communities in Hawai'i, Palau, and British Columbia.
This all-ages event is open to all Tribal members, First Nations and Native communities, as well as members of the Indigenous Aquaculture Collaborative Network. We are excited to join together with friends and relatives from across the Salish Sea, Northwest Coast, Alaska, Hawaiian Islands, Guam, Palau and beyond!
