October 25, 2018 - PUBLIC NOTICE of Hearing on Proposed Change to Draft Chapter 19-06 of the Swinomish Tribal Code, Water Quality Standards

Notice is hereby given that the Swinomish Planning Commission of the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community will hold a public hearing at 10:35 a.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018, for the purpose of considering a recommendation to adopt a proposed change to draft Chapter 19-06 of the Swinomish Tribal Code, Water Quality Standards. This proposed change is to establish additional bacterial indicators for Fish and Shellfish Harvesting Use of Regulated Surface Waters.

Public Hearing: The public hearing will be held in the Senate Room meeting area of the Swinomish Administration Building, 11404 Moorage Way, LaConner, WA. Copies of the full text of the proposed ordinance and pertinent supporting documents are available for review in the Swinomish Office of Planning and Community Development, 11430 Moorage Way, LaConner, WA, and linked below.

Public comment period: Persons desiring to comment on the proposed action may submit comments in writing to the Swinomish Department of Environmental Protection, or may testify at the public hearing. Written comments will be received up to and during the public hearing on December 13, 2018.
